Cookies and browser storage

Reading a historical guide should not require advertising tracking. These editorial pages are designed without it.

Effective 2026

What these terms mean

A cookie is a small value stored by your browser that can be sent with requests to the relevant website. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that lets a website retain values on the device. Browser caches, history, saved form information, downloaded files and clipboard contents are different again.

What the editorial features use

The page scripts for navigation, scroll reveals and evidence-note preparation do not set cookies or store entered messages in localStorage. They do not include advertising or analytics libraries. The contact tool keeps its prepared note in the current page unless you copy or download it yourself.

A separately provided preference interface may retain a consent choice so you do not need to repeat it on each visit. Retaining a preference is distinct from permission to run optional tracking. Optional services should remain inactive unless the required permission has been given.

Managing your preferences

If a cookie preference interface is displayed, use its settings to accept optional storage or keep essential-only operation. A saved choice can generally be removed by clearing this domain’s site data in your browser. Clearing it may cause the preference prompt to appear again.

You can also open your browser’s privacy or site settings, locate junglesortwalnt.casa and remove its cookies and site data. Browser controls differ. Blocking storage should not prevent reading these static guides or using their ordinary links.

Clearing site data does not automatically delete an email you sent, a downloaded evidence note or text held in your device clipboard. Manage those separately.

Other websites and changes

External museums and libraries apply their own cookie policies when you follow their links. This website does not embed their tracking tools in the guides. If optional services are introduced, the relevant notice and controls should be updated before those services run.
